TCT Today Interview

Posted on August 29, 2024 by Bill Kirkwood

I was recently interviewed on TCT Today about my new book Worship Primer for Pastors and Planners: What you Wish You Learned in School with host Tom Nolan. You can watch it here (it’s only 11.5 minutes). I was amazed at what they can do with a green screen studio!

Grace Versus Rules

Jean was almost always late to just about everything, including worship team singer rehearsals. She would usually miss the rehearsal for the first song or two, meaning we’d all have to go back and run those again after she arrived.

We learned a lot about how to improve it for the following year. And after such a huge success, of course God wanted us to do it again.

Community Christmas: Part 1

Every December my church in Kent, Ohio would put on a big Christmas program called WinterSong. This event was described as our gift to the community. But eventually we asked ourselves, “Is WinterSong accomplishing what we say it is accomplishing?”
